Our Mission
Caring for Every Cat in Our Community
Community Cat Care is committed to improving the lives of community cats through humane care, Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs, and local education. We provide medical support, food, shelter, and help find forever homes for adoptable cats. Every cat deserves compassion, and we’re here to make that a reality.
Our Mission
At Community Cat Care, our mission is clear and unwavering: to ensure the health, safety, and dignity of community cats through compassionate care, humane solutions, and public education. We are dedicated to providing these often-overlooked animals with the support they need, whether that’s food, medical care, shelter, or the necessary steps to address overpopulation through spaying and neutering. Our work is driven by a deep sense of responsibility to these cats and the communities we serve, and we strive to educate and empower others to do the same.
Our Vision
We envision a future where every community cat is seen, valued, and cared for. In this future, people understand the unique needs of these cats, whether they’re living in neighborhoods, alleyways, or rural areas. Through education, collaboration, and compassion, we aim to create an environment where no cat is left behind, and where every individual can play a role in ensuring the safety and well-being of the feline neighbors around them. Our vision is one of unity—where communities come together to protect and respect all animals, especially those who are often invisible.
Our Impact
The impact of Community Cat Care is built on the dedication of our team, volunteers, and the generous support of the community. Over the years, we’ve seen firsthand how a single action can transform the life of a cat and a neighborhood. Through our ongoing efforts, we have been able to provide vital medical care to countless cats who would otherwise have suffered. Our trap-neuter-return (TNR) programs have helped stabilize local cat populations, while our feeding stations and shelter support offer immediate relief to outdoor cats. Additionally, our adoption and fostering programs have given many cats a second chance at a loving home.
Protecting the Unseen, Loving the Overlooked, Changing Lives—One Cat at a Time
At Community Cat Care, our mission is both simple and deeply powerful:
To ensure the well-being, dignity, and safety of community cats through compassionate care, humane population control, and public education.
Every day, in neighborhoods, barns, alleyways, and vacant lots, countless cats live without consistent shelter, food, or medical attention. These cats—often feral or abandoned—are not simply “strays.” They are living, feeling beings who have become an invisible part of our communities. Forgotten by many, they are remembered by us.

Why Our Mission Matters
Community cats are often the most vulnerable animals in any town. Without intervention, they suffer from hunger, injury, disease, harsh weather, and unchecked reproduction that leads to more suffering. When communities lack humane, structured responses, these cats multiply in crisis conditions—causing stress for the animals and tension for residents.
That’s why our work is rooted in care, prevention, and collaboration. We believe that by caring for the cats already living outdoors, preventing the birth of more homeless kittens, and educating our communities, we can build safer, healthier environments for animals and people alike.
What Our Mission Looks Like in Action
Our mission is lived out through hands-on work and everyday compassion:
Education & Outreach: We educate residents about humane cat care, the importance of spay/neuter, and how to co-exist peacefully with outdoor cats.
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR): We humanely trap cats, provide spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, and then return them to safe outdoor locations. This is the most effective and humane way to manage and reduce community cat populations over time.
Feeding & Shelter Programs: We support colony caretakers who provide daily food and safe, insulated shelters for community cats—especially during extreme weather.
Medical Assistance: Sick or injured cats receive veterinary care, giving them a chance at recovery and a better quality of life.
Foster & Adoption: Friendly strays and young kittens are placed in foster homes, socialized, and adopted into loving forever homes.

A Mission That Goes Beyond Cats
Though our focus is on cats, our mission also uplifts the communities we serve. By providing resources, offering support, and reducing conflict, we foster a deeper sense of empathy and cooperation between people and animals. We believe that kindness to animals reflects the health of our society—and that helping cats is one powerful way to help people, too.
How You Can Help: Our mission is powered by people like you. Volunteers, donors, fosters, and advocates make our work possible. Whether you want to trap a cat, sponsor a spay surgery, foster a kitten, or simply learn more—you have a place in this mission.

Our Commitment
We are committed to:
Building a community where every cat has a protector.
Showing up for the cats no one else sees.
Providing consistent, humane, and loving care.
Advocating for smarter, kinder solutions.
Final Words: This mission isn’t just about rescue—it’s about respect. It’s about changing how our society views animals who live without homes. It’s about recognizing that even the smallest, most silent lives matter. At Community Cat Care, we choose to see them, serve them, and speak for them—every single day.
